Dr. Zach Shasteen is a dedicated chiropractor with a heartfelt mission to uplift the entire community through natural, holistic, drug-free chiropractic care. Raised in a close-knit, blue-collar family in Western Pennsylvania, Zach’s commitment to serving others fuels his passion for helping people of all ages and backgrounds—whether they’re athletes striving for peak performance or individuals seeking to live pain-free, vibrant lives. His practice warmly welcomes everyone, from infants to seniors, offering personalized, organic care to promote lasting health and wellness.
Zach’s path to chiropractic was forged through his experience as an elite athlete. Beginning sports at age three, he achieved his dream of competing as an NCAA Division 1 pole vaulter at the University of Memphis, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise & Sport Movement Sciences. A defining moment came during his sophomore year when a lower back injury jeopardized his athletic career. Chiropractic care turned the tide, enabling him to return to competition in just three weeks. This transformative experience inspired his calling to empower others to overcome pain, recover swiftly, and thrive in their daily lives.
Dr. Shasteen earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in St. Petersburg, Florida. His exceptional talent led to a prestigious 6-month clerkship at Bay Pines Veterans Affairs Hospital, one of the nation’s largest VA facilities, where he provided compassionate, specialized care to veterans, sharpening his expertise in complex musculoskeletal conditions.
While Dr. Shasteen serves all community members with tailored care, he has a particular expertise in sports chiropractic, specializing in athletes and active individuals—from youth and high school competitors to collegiate, professional, and weekend warriors. His evidence-based approach helps them recover from injuries, optimize performance, and pursue the activities they love. Dr. Shasteen has worked with notable athletes, including NFL Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin, NFL Steelers safety Keanu Neal, and three-time Olympic gold medalist and world champion 400-meter runner LaShawn Merritt. Yet, his practice is equally devoted to non-athletes, providing holistic solutions for anyone seeking to manage pain, enhance mobility, or maintain wellness.
